Tech giant determines ‘empathy’ is the vital skill needed within a division of the organization and wants to do something about it! While research shows this skill can be learned, matters of the heart and emotions can be tricky training ground. We crafted a highly experiential half-day session- including partner sharing, independent workbook exercises, group role play, interaction with a case study and some right brain creative time- all sprinkled with science and of course, memorable catch phrases to ensure the relevance and personal impact land and stick.
MOVING FROM DISJOINTED INEFFICIENCIES TO PRODUCTIVE CONNECTION
A financial team of high achievers were getting tripped up by challenges with process and team conflict. We strategically led a series of sessions to develop and align on more effective processes, while carefully facilitating team members through some uncomfortable conversations to speak some truth and refresh limiting perceptions happening on the team. The bitterness has been dissolved and the gaps in workflow have remained smooth for continued ease in day-to-day operations.
TAKING TRENDY GROWTH TOPICS AND MAKING THEM UNIQUELY ENGAGING
A high-impact global L&D organization was ready to revamp an info- heavy course on ‘resiliency’. We dug in, turned it inside out, and led with a bold claim that ‘resiliency’ is overused so we must take a fresh angle. Huge shoutout to Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s concept of anti-fragility as that’s where we placed our stake for the fresh theme of the session. We went to town bringing in what science shows are necessary ingredients for creating sustained mental, physical and emotional change, folded in key principles from thought leaders and cutting-edge research, and finally, created some piercingly revealing exercises. Now, it’s a session that continues to book thanks to word of mouth from changed participants.
TRANSFORMING PUBLISHED WISDOM INTO AN IMPACTFUL YEAR-LONG LEARNING JOURNEY
A passionate and well-established organization wanted to refresh a series of growth-focused content, honoring some existing material and bringing in some new. That’s where we came in. We studied their existing content and eventually developed twelve, one hour power courses that were unique, heart-centered and highly experiential. We crafted the scripts and created the exercises for unique and memorable workbooks. We led the sessions live, creating the safest of spaces for maximum sharing and growth to occur. The sessions generated a following of repeat, committed learners. The library of courses has gone on to be delivered by numerous facilitators and shared as a special offering to the clients of this organization.
